The Electric Barge Mooring
We're moored in Little Venice just a 3-minute walk from
Paddington Station. That means we're accessible via road, rail,
tube, bus and cycle.
Little Venice is an area of contrasts encompassing the
industrial heritage of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's station, the
immaculate Regency townhouses that overlook the pool and the
landmark architecture of Sir Richard Rogers, Sir Terry Farrell and
Thomas Heatherwick in Paddington Basin.
There are plenty of great places to eat and drink nearby and the
mooring is within walking distance of Notting Hill, Portobello
Road, Bayswater and Hyde Park.
Boat address: The Electric Barge, moored on the Grand Union
Canal, adjacent to Sheldon Square, Paddington Central, London W2
directions to find us via public transport.
By far the most popular route we travel is the round trip from
our Little Venice mooring to Camden Lock and back. It takes you
along the Regent's Canal via the Maida Hill Tunnel, around Regent's
Park, then cuts through London Zoo before turning round at Camden
for the return journey.
